HART Tools, a premium tool provider sold exclusively at Walmart, needed to convince their holiday shoppers – who usually purchase tools from specialty stores – that Walmart is the ultimate destination for premium tools.
HART Tools selected our proprietary commerce platform, Hyphen, to educate, inspire, and convert consumers on social media, with an end goal of driving conversions to Walmart.com and increasing foot traffic at Walmart stores during the holiday season.
Using Hyphen, we collaborated with HART Tools to create a branded, shoppable landing page to display a curated selection of in-stock products that shoppers could purchase from their preferred Walmart. Unlike traditional media, the Hyphen platform also provided HART Tools the access to distinctive insights that allowed the brand to retarget visitors that clicked on an ad but did not purchase.
During the holidays, our Hyphen Team used paid social and display ads to direct shoppers to the HART Tools experience on Hyphen Shop. Using first-party data collected on the HART Tools website, Hyphen generated retargeting and lookalike audiences that allowed the brand to serve ads to a more qualified group of consumers.
Throughout the holidays, we integrated in-flight while continuously optimizing campaigns, testing different creative, and pinpointing opportunities to capitalize on new platforms, such as TikTok, resulting in a strong add-to-cart rate of 6.6%.
