Today, we are excited to announce that Accenture has completed its acquisition of The Stable, reinforcing Accenture’s continued investments in commerce to help clients accelerate growth and sustain relevance.
Accenture is a 700,000+ person global professional services company with capabilities in digital, cloud, and security. The acquisition of The Stable comes on the heels of Accenture’s launch of Accenture Song, and represents a significant milestone as the first commerce acquisition since the unveiling of Accenture Song.
“We are so proud to be joining Accenture Song [a part of Accenture] to execute on our shared vision of helping the world’s best brands drive commerce and experience across all platforms and channels,” says Chad Hetherington, Co-Founder and CEO of The Stable. “Joining forces with Accenture will enable us to radically expand our capabilities across the entire value chain and fuel massive growth and value to our clients and employees.”
“The closing of our acquisition of The Stable signals the strengthening of our commerce capabilities,” said Glen Hartman, Accenture Song’s global lead for commerce services. “The depth and breadth of our commerce expertise will enable us to continue to meet clients’ demand for commerce experience reinvention in a way that matches the ever-evolving relationship between customers and brands.”
